Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Delhi - Jaipur
Depart Delhi for Jaipur.
Day 02 : Jaipur
Stay at Jaipur, the picturesque capital of Rajasthan, famous for the City
Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Ram Niwas Bagh and Amer Palace and lot of
other attractions. Jaipur is also famous for colourful bazaars where one can
shop for Rajasthani handlooms and trinkets.
Day 03 : Depature for Ajmer
Ajmer, a popular pilgrimage attraction especially famous for the Dargah
Sharif Tomb of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, which is equally
revered by the Hindus and Muslims. Ajmer is also the base for visiting
Pushkar, the abode of lord Brahma . Ajmer also boasts of some unique
architectural styles that is unique in Rajasthan.
Over Night stay at Pushkar.
Day 04 : Pushkar
Visit Pushkar, that is known for its unique temples in India, of these the
most famous one is the Brahma temple - the only temple dedicated to lord
Brahman in the country. Although a serene town, Pushkar bustles with life
during the joyous celebrations, held on Kartik Purnima. Every year thousands
of devotees throng the lake around the full moon day of Kartik Purnima in
October - November to take a holy dip in the lake.
Day 05 : Depature for Udaipur
Udaipur, the Venice of the East, known for majestic architectural marvel,
Lake palace, City palace; the picturesque lakes, Pichola and Fateh Sagar;
the beautiful sculpted temple complex, Eklingi and Kumbhalgarh fort. For
Fortress and palaces there is no better place then Udaipur which is a dream
destination for any visitor.
Day 06 : Tour to Chittaurgarh & Return
Enjoy your sixth day in Chittaurgarh, the epitome of romance and valour.
The major attraction of Chittaurgarh is the Vijay Stambh ( Victory Tower ),
the imposing 37 meter high structure with nine storeys , covered with
exquisite sculptures of Hindu deities. The other features of the visit are
Padmini's palace, Kalika Mata temple , Government museum and lots more.
Day 07 : Udaipur
Local Udaipur. Visit the City of Dawn, Udaipur in the morning which is a
lovely land around the azure water lakes, hemmed in by the lush hills of the
Aravalis. There are several places of interest around Udaipur, including the
majestic Chittaurgarh, the mountain fortress of Kumbhalgarh, beautiful Jain
temples of Ranakpur, Eklingji and Nathdwara and the cool retreat of Mt. Abu
make the visit to Udaipur a memorable one.
Day 08 : Depature for Ranakpur via Ekilingi
Ekilingi 8th century complex of 108 temples. A must see tourist attraction
for all. Ranakpur, a amazing Jain temple in glittering white marble. The
complex is reputed for the dazzling 1444 pillars intricately carved
supporting pillars, of which no two pillars are alike. Due to its unique
features, Ekilingi is known world wide.
Arrival Jodhpur Overnight stay.
Day 09-10 : ( 2 days at Jodhpur )
Arrive at Jodhpur. You have wide options when you head for Jodhpur. Set at
the edge of the Thar desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur offer you a wide
array of sightseeing tours that range from the opulent edifice in sandstone
called Umaid Bhavan Palace, the majestic fort of Mehrangarh and the
beautiful Kailana lake. Stop over at Jaswant Thada, a view of the Blue city.
Shopping in Jodhpur bazaars is a heady experience with a colourful display
of the rich collection of exquisite handicrafts.
Day 11 : Depature For Jaisalmer via Osain
Osian 70 km from Jodhpur famous for its beautifully sculptured temples.
Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.
Day 12-13 : ( 2 days at Jaisalmer)
Jaisalmer, the best tourist place in India. The heart of Thar desert and
the last princely bastion known for some of the most exotic mansions or
havelis; a scenic rain water lake called Gadsisar Lake; a pagoda like
structure known as Tazia Tower and Salim -ki- Haveli are some of the
attractions in Jaisalmer. The perfect time to visit the golden city is
during the Desert festival, held in Jan-Feb, when the city reverberates to
the sound of melodious tunes and rhythms. Folk dances, exciting competitions
and contests and camel races enliven the festivities.
Day 14 : Depart For Bikaner
The royal fortified city with a timeless appeal. Bikaner more popularly
called the camel country, the city is renowned for the best riding camels in
the world. The wells of Bikaner- an important source of water are other
attractions of the city. These are built on high plinths with slender
minaret towers on each of the four corners and can be noticed even from a
distance. Undulating lanes, colourful bazaars and bright and cheerful folks
make Bikaner an interesting experience.
Day 15 :
Depart For Delhi.
