Detailed Itinerary
Day - 1 - Arrive Delhi
You arrive in Delhi by International flight. After traditional 'Swagat'
(Welcome) our representative would assist you at the airport & to our
hotel for check-in. After breakfast we will go on a guided tour of Delhi at
1000 hrs, beginning with morning sightseeing trip to Gandhi Memorial at Raj
Ghat followed by drive around India Gate & President's House. Afternoon
visits to Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple (Closed on Monday) & Qutub Minar.

Day - 2 - Delhi - Mandawa (280 km - 6 hrs)
Early morning you drive to Mandawa, located South West of Delhi. On arrival

Day - 3 - Mandawa - Bikaner (160 km - 4 hrs)
Post breakfast departure for a half Day sightseeing tour covering the
Shekhawati region, rich in fresco painted dwellings. This region is often
referred to as the 'Open Air Gallery' of Rajasthan. Later you leave for
Bikaner & check in at our hotel upon arrival.

Day - 4 - Bikaner - Jaisalmer (325 km - 6 hrs)
Morning after breakfast our guide will take you for half day sightseeing of
Junagarh Fort, which has palatial rooms richly decorated with emeralds &
intricate carvings in gold. Later we leave for Jaisalmer. On arrival, check

Day - 5 - Jaisalmer
Set deep in the heart of Thar desert lies Jaisalmer, one of the last
princely bastions of the region. Founded on the crossroads of lucrative
trade routes, where the rich merchants hired craftsmen who worked with great
diligence on the sandstone mansions they built, filing up facades with
sculpture filigree, screen windows, delicate pavilions & balconies. Post
breakfast half Day sightseeing tour covering Jaisalmer Fort on the 80m high
Trikula Hill built by Rawal Jaisal in 1156 & Patwon Ki Haveli, known for
its most elaborate & magnificent facade. Next on is a camel ride at Sam
dunes, 45 km from the city.

Day - 6 - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (290 km - 6 hrs)
Early morning drive to Jodhpur, a glittering blend of modern &
traditional architecture reflecting upon its numerous palaces. The
enchanting forts, temples & other royal residences have retained a
medieval character, which comprises of the town's multifaceted attractions.
Upon arrival we help you check in at our hotel. A leisurely evening follows

Day - 7 - Jodhpur
Post breakfast half Day tour of Jodhpur. Visits to the imposing Mehrangarh
Fort, undoubtedly the most prominent landmark of the city, followed by
Jaswant Thada - the white marble memorial of Maharaja Jaswant singh II,
built in 1899.

Day - 8 - Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur (325 km - 5 hrs)
Morning drive to Ranakpur to visit the secluded 1439 AD Jain Temple Complex
with 29 halls dissected by 1444 pillars, each sculpted with unique designs.
Lunch is suggested at the nearby Maharani Bagh Orchard retreat. Tour
continues to Udaipur, which is another 80 km & a drive of roughly 2 hrs.
Set around the vast Pichola Lake & dominated by dramatic palaces,
Udaipur is Rajasthan's most picturesque city. At sunset you can cruise
around in a boat amidst the romantic waters of Lake Pichola. Overnight Hotel

Day - 9 - Udaipur - Jaipur (CD-7472 - 1640 - 1830 hrs.)
The 'City of Lakes' awaits your attention on this Day. Morning tour of
Udaipur's fascinating City Palace. Moulded in soft yellow stone, its
windowless base is crowned with ornate turrets & canopies. Part of the
Palace is now a museum with its marble & granite walls laden with
brilliant miniature paintings & decorated with coloured glass &
mirrors. The tour continues to the garden of the Maids of Honour &
Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum. Later on time transfer to airport to board the
flight for Jaipur. Upon arrival assistance check-in hotel. Overnight Hotel -

Day - 10 - Jaipur
After an early breakfast, we drive 11 km to Amber, the capital of the
gallant Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. We ride on elephant back & reach
Fort situated on hill & then visit the Fort Palace. Later we visit City
Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory & Palace of Winds.

Optional Excursion to Chokhi Dhani : An evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani
complex, ethnic village resort located at a distance of 15 km from Jaipur.
Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground &
includes the entertainment by folk dancers & musicians. Guests can move
around freely & enjoy the evening. Later drive back to the Hotel for
overnight stay.
Day - 11 - Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (260 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast in the coffee shop, we drive at 0900 hrs to Agra. En route
we visit Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece in sandstone with the stunning
elegance of its palaces and courts. Further proceed to Agra, upon arrival we
help you check-in at our hotel at Agra. In the evening enjoy the magic show
performed by the local magician.

Day - 12 - Agra - Mathura & Vrindavan - Agra (60 km / 1.5 hrs / One
way)
Agra, erstwhile capital of great Mughals & known for Taj Mahal. It has
always fascinated Indians & foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on West
bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort & Taj Mahal at its nucleus. Taj
Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations.
After early breakfast, we drive at 0800 hrs visit the incredible
architectural excellence of Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), built by Emperor
Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Next we visit Agra
Fort, built principally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565. The
red sandstone Agra Fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah
Jahan's time. This massive Fort is 2.5 km long & is considered as the
predecessor of the Delhi Red Fort.
Later in the afternoon we visit Sikandara, Akbar's tomb and to Mathura
(Shri Krishna Janmabhumi Temple) & Vrindavan (Bankey Bihari Temple &
ISKCON Temple) (Temples are close between 1200-1600 hrs), related with birth
& childhood of Lord Krishna. In the evening return to Agra. Overnight

Day - 13 - Agra (Shatabdi Exp. Dep. 0800 hr-1030 hr) - Jhansi -
Khajuraho via Orchha (166km -5hr)
After an early morning breakfast, we drive to reach on time at 0730 hrs to
the railway station to board the train to Jhansi. On arrival at the Jhansi
Railway Station our representative would meet & assist you. Next we
leave for Orchha, located at a distance of 16 km from Jhansi.
Orchha has a medieval town atmosphere attached to it. The Betwa River
quietly flows by the town. The 16th century palaces & temples built by
its Bundela rulers appear to be suspended in time. Visits to Orchha Fort,
Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal & Ram Raja temple. Later we proceed further
for Khajuraho. Upon arrival in Khajuraho check-in at our hotel. Overnight

Day - 14 - Khajuraho - Jhansi (Shatabdi Exp Dep. 1730 - Arr. 2300 hrs) -
Delhi
After an early breakfast sightseeing trip to Khajuraho temples, built
between 950 & 1050 AD by the mighty warrior kings of the Chandela
dynasty, in a truly inspired burst of creativity. The temples are famous for
the magnificent carvings depicting numerous sexual postures of the famous
'Kamasutra', ancient Indian work on sex. Only 22 temples survive of the 85
originally built. In fact, worship is still done today in the Matangeshwara
temple, continuing an unbroken 1000 year tradition. Later we drive to reach
on time to Jhansi railway station to board the train to Delhi. On arrival
assistance at the railway station & transfer to the Hotel for short

Day - 15 - Depart Delhi
Tour concludes. We thanks you for your patronage & ensures a punctual
transfer to the railway station for your onward travel.
